I just got off the phone today
With a good friend of mine
She mentioned something bout her family
And having a real good time
Wouldn't it be great to see them

But I had my own plans for this is my life

That were shared between the two of us
For a moment I paused then I realized
If she gives into me, it would be great for my reason
